A
Search the collected text
Find relevant terms and clauses across the material currently available in the preview.

ILSANLAB is building a clearer path from a technical question to the clause, edition, and source behind the answer.
The problem
Standards and technical documents are dense, versioned, and difficult to navigate. A promising search result is only useful when the researcher can inspect its context.
ILSANLAB focuses on the chain of evidence: discover the relevant text, read it in place, and check the source, edition, page, and review status before using it.
Current product
Available as a research preview
A read-only research interface for searching collected KDS material and retrieving clauses with provenance metadata.
A
Find relevant terms and clauses across the material currently available in the preview.
B
Keep page references and document context near the retrieved text.
C
Check edition, release and review state, and source identity before relying on a result.
The collected editions may be unreviewed and are not presented as official current standards. The service does not perform design calculations, compliance decisions, or structural engineering judgment. Researchers must verify results against authoritative sources.
Demo
Three deliberate steps keep the reference visible throughout the research flow.
Step 01
Use a term or phrase to locate relevant passages in the collected material.
Step 02
Open the result and inspect the retrieved text together with its document and page reference.
Step 03
Follow the page link to compare the extracted clause with the underlying document, then review its edition and verification state.
Planned with Claude
Use Claude to explain retrieved passages while keeping source references and uncertainty visible.
Organize relevant findings into a concise working summary for a researcher to inspect and revise.
Help compare a draft claim with the retrieved source and flag where human verification is still needed.
The researcher remains responsible for interpretation, engineering decisions, and verification against authoritative documents.
About
ILSANLAB is an independent, founder-led project based in South Korea. Peter is developing practical tools around the way structural engineering researchers and graduate students actually find, inspect, and organize technical evidence.
